My kids dropped my iPad, and the colors on my screen went all funky. Unreadable.

I tried rebooting first. Then syncing it to iTunes. I researched hard reboots, and finally – restoring the device, which wipes out all data and settings.

Finally I joked, “I should just drop it again!”

Wait – let me google that!!

Sure enough, I found others who claimed a few good whacks to the back of the iPad was the trick for them.

Folks, it worked! The display is now back to normal. Parents everywhere, keep this in your back pocket… you’re gonna need it 🙂
